This Editorial Policy describes the standards FinPulse aims to apply to financial news, market explainers and educational content.
1. Editorial purpose
Our purpose is to provide clear, useful and responsible coverage of markets, business, the economy, forex, gold and commodities, IPOs and crypto-related topics.
2. Sourcing and verification
We aim to prioritise original documents, official announcements, exchange and regulator information, company filings, statistical releases and reputable reporting. Important claims should be checked against underlying source material wherever practical.
3. Accuracy, context and attribution
We aim to use accurate names, dates, figures and descriptions; explain the period and units behind data; link to source material where possible; and distinguish confirmed facts from estimates, commentary or opinion.
4. Headlines and updates
Headlines should reflect the substance of an article and must not exaggerate certainty or imply a guaranteed market outcome. Time-sensitive articles should carry a publication or update date. Material updates should be made clear where practical.
5. Independence and commercial transparency
Editorial decisions should not be determined by advertisers, sponsors or outside parties. Sponsored or promotional material should be identified where applicable. The presence of an advertisement or link is not a recommendation.
6. Financial content
FinPulse articles are general information and education, not personalised investment advice. We do not promise returns or present ordinary editorial material as a substitute for regulated professional services.
7. Images and rights
We aim to use images and media that we own, have permission to use, are licensed for the intended use, or may lawfully be used. Captions and attributions should not imply an endorsement or connection that does not exist.
8. Corrections
When a material factual error is identified, we aim to review and correct the article in line with our Corrections Policy.
9. Contact the editorial team
